Week 6: Me x 3

In week 6, we were asked to find three pictures of three different things that “Define Me”. These are my three products.

This first picture is of a Traktor Control S4. I chose this picture because it represents my passion for music, preforming, and the art of mixing this music while preforming. It was my first piece of DJ equipment, and I still use it from time to time to compose sets, as it is near unmatched when it comes to navigating through a library and setting up cue points for said set. However; I have upgraded to newer more “professional standard” equipment, the Traktor S4 will always have a spot in my studio.

This second picture is of the undisputable, renowned, “King” of preforming arts laptops, The MacBook Pro. I chose this because I use this piece of equipment nearly every day if not a couple times a day. I use it for everything between working on homework and school projects to producing industry standard music and DJ sets. Nearly anytime you see me or any other preforming artist, chances are, you will see this trusty electronic companion with them.

This third picture, lastly, is of software I own, called Ableton Suite 8 Live. I chose this picture mainly because whenever I’m not working on homework, at school, or djing, this is what you’ll find me doing. It is software used for the creation and production of professional standard electronic music.

I feel all three of these things help describe me slightly better as a DJ/Producer. As you can see, I have a passion in the arts of audio production and live preforming, and plan on continuing that passion.
